I've been having these extremely intense moments recently, which is a surprise because I don't lose my cool too often (aside from road rage). Now, this isn't to say that these intense moments refer to something negative, but they can also be positive moments like, um, childbirth, or love, or something else along those lines.

What are some of your intense moments?

This is an earnest attempt to have a serious discussion

I think one of my more serious moments was the death of a very close friend. And the fact that I watched him die made it even worse. I felt like I never wanted to talk to anyone else again or even leave my room. For a long period of time after that, I was literally like "emo" depressed. I had actually cut myself once because of it and I always stayed in the dark and wore black/dark clothes. I didn't go outside and hardly ate and because of this, I had to go the hospital and nearly died. At that moment, I actually kind of wanted to die and join my friend wherever he was. He was like my closest friend and I was closer with him then I was with my own brother or parents. However, as I was laying in the hospital bed, my friend's brother talked to me. He explained how I should be happy for my passed away friend and that he is in a better place. I refused to listen but he told to think over night so I did. As I laid in the dark, once again, something made me realize that I still have a full life ahead of me and that my friend was free of his suffering. It's kind of hard to actually put in words but I regained strength and recovered from my "mental" illness, I guess you could say. So yeah, really serious and breath-taking and it still kind of takes away my breath when I talk about it. mellow.gif
