Hey everyone, I'm excited to be on here! My name is Ben, and I'm a graphic design student as well as studio designer for holographic recording studio in Barrington, IL. I am married to my best friend, Grace, who is a photographer (just graduated from Columbia College Chicago, gracekrogh.com), and I also am a musician.


I have been designing for a while, but I'm absolutely terrible at coding. I have designed a few myspace layouts for bands (this is part of my job at holographic), and can do it somewhat:

However, I really want to learn the meat and potatoes of web design. Like how to code a myspace top banner for a band that has links in it. How the heck do you do that? And how to code a web page I designed in photoshop. So I'm eager to learn, and look forward to discussing all of these things with you all on createblog. Let's have fun.
