Soon you will be able to have a username Starting on Friday, June 12th, at 9:01pm, you'll be able to choose a username for your Facebook account to easily direct friends, family, and coworkers to your profile. the point is obviously being missed. like tori said, it'll be in the url. this means, that if you know someone's username, you can type it in, rather than searching. it's A LOT EASIER than remembering the number id someone has. it has nothing to do with the actual name on your facebook.
