I need a tutorial for GIMP that shows you how to pixelate parts of images.

I want to pixelate this image but i don't know how.
If anyone knows how then please help me.

Blur>pixelize
And the higher you set the number the fewer colrs there will be. Like 10 will have chunks of one color that are 10x10 pixels. Just play with it. And if you only want to pixelize parts then you can select parts using whatever method you want then pixelizing it. I would suggest feathuring the selection before pixelizing it though.

Select>feather.
The higher, the more gradual the edges will be.

What does feathering an image actually do?

no, not the image. The selection.

It will make the selection blurry. If you set it to 5 it will make 5 pixels closest to the edge blurry.
