Idk if its because i am Mexican but i was always taught to greet people with a hug and a kiss. My bf seems to be bothered by this becuase he says its kissing alot of guys even if it is just a kiss on the cheek. So my questions are...
1. Is this weird? (some ppl seem to think its a little to affectionate) 2. If it was ur gf or bf would you be mad? 3. Does anyone else do this? |

Eh... nothing else. I'm not saying all Boricuas are the same.. but majority, ya, especially the females (and serious Drama Queens). I live in South Florida and this is how it is down here. I have noticed his sisters tend to be very dramatic. Im from Texas they are the only Puerto Ricans i have ever met. 1. Well to me, no, because I'm Colombian and it's a custom for me too. 2. Nah, I'd be cool with it. I respect that it's a custom and it's not really a big deal. 3. I do, but with only my family and some of my parent's friends. I just usually say "what's up" to my friends and shake a person's hand when I meet them for the first time. Im starting to think its a Latin thing. |
