My boyfriend's parents are weird, but then again my parents are kind of weird too. I have a really bad relationship with my father (everyone on my mom's side does as well), so I haven't told him, although I am not sure if he knows or not.
My mother found out before I told her, but she kept quiet about it. I wasn't ready to tell her until right before senior prom, since I wanted to prove that I could handle a relationship and still do really well in school. My mom and the rest of my family like my boyfriend, so it's all good. Eh... it's weird between me and Tony's family. His dad jokes around, so I can't really tell if he likes me, but it seems like he approves since I go to college. His mother's too traditional so I don't really understand her most of the time. However, this is minor, since the person who holds the most authority in his house is his older sister. She thinks she's really "experienced" and knows everything since she's older, but she really doesn't, lol. She's really superficial, so his mother gets influenced by his sister. But I can somewhat be favored by her when she's not going through one of her "crazy vietnamese lady" moments. |
