i think sex is important and my relationship has lasted. i think a more correct statement is intimacy does not come from sex alone.

Sex is not interchangable with intimacy. Intimacy comes completely seperate from sex. Sex can play a large role in a relationship, but most couples think that the level they reach in bed is intimacy when it really isn't. Go a month without sex with your partner, and see if the level of your relationship changes. Sex can be important seperate of intimacy. |
