Is there any way of hosting a site on freewebs.com and having PHP files at the same time?
My Friend and I are discussing it and we don't know. Please Help. My site, if you want to check it out (I'm working on the layout), is sugar-blossom.net. I paid freewebs for a year so I would like to stay there if I can. But my friend told me that PHP is easier than using HTML, CSS and Javascript. |

Html is the highest?
What the heck. I couldnt just pick one. You cant use only css in a website. You have to connect the css to the html and I also use php. Also people need to stop having pages with extensions. If you use php you can easily change website.com/contact.php to website.com/contact/ |

Also people need to stop having pages with extensions. you don't need to use PHP to do that. if you're on a server using apache, you can just use mod_rewrite in an .htaccess file. with lighttpd or NGINX, you can do the same thing by adjusting the configuration file.If you use php you can easily change website.com/contact.php to website.com/contact/ i don't even think PHP can handle rewriting file extensions. that's something for ruby on rails or django or webpy. |
