So i straighten my hair a lot and its also kinda thin and i notice that it seems to get a bunch of split ends pretty quickly even after i get a trim. So is there a good hair shampoo or some kind of heat protector that i can use to decrease the amount of splits?

I've used to Biolage shampoos (my mom has them) and I'm not a huge fan. It might just be the type of hair that it is made for. My hair has pretty much no volume, but it isn't thin. The only thing I do is add mousse sometimes when I blow dry my hair, which shows when I neglect to get my hair trimmed for quite a few months.
