So i straighten my hair a lot and its also kinda thin and i notice that it seems to get a bunch of split ends pretty quickly even after i get a trim. So is there a good hair shampoo or some kind of heat protector that i can use to decrease the amount of splits?

Bump

Thick, coarse hair. I've had Biolage (sp?) balm something or rather and some CHI silk product recommended. I dye my hair about every other month. For some reason, this year has been horrible for my hair. I'm not sure if it's because it has been more humid or what.

I know that I can google for products and such, but I'm really looking for opinions based on experiences, beyond that which I see in product comment sections.
