well i need to download and burn an iso but i currently dont have a linux computer with a cd burner so im going to do everything from the live cd. i just wanted to know if it sounds like a bad idea. i already know that even the live cd is fast. im gonna download opera and then download the iso torrent. im doin it in linux so i dont get a virus. can a virus get into windows still? o and is their an iso burning tool in ubuntu?if not what should i use.

Can I also avoid getting a virus by downloading the risky iso in a virtual machine running linux?
