Question about using the "custom shape tool", Some one help please |

I'm trying to use the custom shape tool [the heart shape specifically], but every time I use it the shape gets filled in with a color, I don't want it to be filled in I want it to give me the outline of the shape. Any one know which settings to change to do this ?

sweet, thanks alot, ive been trying to follow a tutorial but couldnt get pass that part lol
