This is a simple DVD cover for my english class. I don't really even need to do this much, but I kinda want to startle my teacher because he thinks I'm good for nothing (I sleep everyday in his class). Unnecessary information aside, the prompt is to redesign a DVD cover for the movie's reissue. So I took into consideration that the audience would already be familiar with the movie, thus why I decided to not add any still shots from the movie in the back. I actually don't even want the synopsis to be there.
I wanna enter this into the book cover design competition since it looks a lot like a book cover as well, but there's no such book as There Will Be Blood :/

Wowow thanks for all the positive comments! My friends weren't really all too blown away by it but whatever, they're not really graphically minded people :p
Oh, Markster, the serif's called BlackBeard. I forgot where I got it though :/ |
