Dr. Philip Nitschke, who founded the right-to-die organization Exit International, will use the meetings in Bournemouth, Dorset, to demonstrate how to use his do-it-yourself suicide kit. The kit includes morphine and other drugs and a helium-filled "exit bag" that is placed over the head.

QUOTE
Now, Nitschke has the full support of the owner of Hamilton Hall, the facility where he will be hosting the events. "It seems we demand humans to live with indignity, pain and anguish whereas we are kinder to our pets when their suffering becomes too much," said the controversial Australian.

and he's not promoting suicide, he's telling people that if they don't want to suffer, death is always an option

agreed, and people should have that right.

the example on the site of the italian chick who was in a vegetative state for 17 years. that's messed up and cruel if you ask me. someone better kill me if i'm living off a machine for years. i wanna be killed and i'd gladly kill myself if i could in that situation, so i hope someone would do it for me. my family doesn't need to go through 17 years of something that awful. that's 14-15 years they coulda been moving on.
