With my mom, it's up in the air. She may be for it, but she may also be against it. I told my dad already, and he encourages it. He even said he'd go with me to the recruiter's. He just advises that I don't do the same thing he did where he was in the Navy and ended up with a job where the navy didn't do him any good. I'm really wanting to enlist myself for college payments and to become more confident in myself. Sorry if that sounds weird towards the end. I say that you should just tell her. I don't think they will be against it, and oddly enough, the air force is the "safest" choice amongst all of the branches. Being that you come from a military family, she might not see anything wrong with it. Both of my parents are against me wanting to be a firefighter, so trust me I know the feeling. Right. Tell me what's wrong about my English skills then. How do I not sound too bright? I'm going to towards a Spanish major in college. |
