Not so many changes. According to the website the main difference is boot speeds. When I tried the 32 bit version everything worked but unfortunately the 64 bit version wouldn't let me use any visual effects.
You should try it out.

Does anyone know if it would break the contract of a computer to put linux on it?

Also I noticed it had something new called janitor?! I mean ya it's useful but I never saw ubuntu trying to do that.

Majority of Linux distros are made so that the end user builds his operating system. Ubuntu did all the building for us.. we just screw around with the eye candy lol

Good point.

I need to get my hands on Fedora again. But, as it stands, my internet connection (when I actually have connection) isn't reliable enough to download the live cd.

hm... ya I used to suffer when I was out of the country using other people's wireless networks, as the connection would be too slow and a lot of times would just disconnect if I was tryin to use up a lot of bandwidth.

I know how that is all too well.

I'm pretty sold on Fedora, though. Ubuntu was a good starter car, but it is time to upgrade.
