Hi from the guy that draws those playing cards Options

I don't usually do introductions but this place seems to have a very fun group of committed members so I would certainly like being part of the 'regulars' of the forum. I'm sure some guys know me from the playing cards that I've been posting in the showcase booth.

So a little information about me... as you can deduce from my username, my name's Ricky. 17 years old and can't wait to graduate high school so I can finally pursue a formal education in design. Self-teaching can only get me this far and I am flipping excited for what college can offer me. I'm quite obsessed with logo and package design, illustration, and am starting to get into typography.

Then again I might not even make it into college considering I have 3 Ds with only 5 weeks left of school to go -___- Been devoting a little too much time to those cards.

Btw, quick poll, anyone here going or goes to Cal State Long Beach? That's where I'm headed.

Thanks everyone. I'm not really much of a forum person :/ I just like to lurk around and read posts but I'm trying to change that.

Mike, jcp, Markster, thank you for your kind words. Really helps motivate me to keep pushing myself to produce even more work.
