Im not new to CB but I am new to layout design. I have looked through the forum here for answer to some questions before I start designing however there was one that I didn't see an answer for.
Could someone give me some tips/info on the proper ways to credit images, textures, fonts, and whatnot on a layout? Do I have to put credit on the image I use as a watermark? Or could/do I put it in the layout somewhere or is it just enough to credit in my layout description? Could I use images from DeviantART provided I have permission from the original artist, as well as give proper credit as to who the artist is and where I got the image? Any info you can give me would be a great help and greatly appreciated. I would hate to spend all that time on a layout to have it rejected for something as simple as the crediting. Also, does anyone know any good places to get really good graphics? Thank you. |

You should provide a link to the site or person who provided things like textures, brushes, or fonts. Although, a lot of people don't credit fonts because well, they're just text so yeah....
I think even if you left credit for a graphic, it would still be rejected. The layout has to be made by you and only you. It has to be original. You can credit the sites/people that provided the resources that you used in your layout or graphic in the description part. It's not really necessary to credit them in the layout itself unless you want to. I'm not really going to answer where you can get good graphics because again, you need to design and make the layout yourself. Good Luck. ![]() |
