opinions on him?
not that i'm expecting very many people here to know who i'm talking about ![]() i haven't been listening to this dude even though i've seen him all around hip hop blogs. i never paid much attention but i'm into this song right now, maybe only because i thought the video was out of the ordinary and cooler feeling than the majority i see lately. plus i don't have problems with girls out in harlem, and had a fling with a few out in queens, too. ![]() |

+Charles Hamilton is taking a page out of Papoose and Weezy's playbook by oversaturating the industry with mixtapes. This keeps him relevant in underground and mixtape circles. Thanks to his blog, he's receiving tons of exposure
+With each drop, he's becoming a better story teller, and he's honing his skills. His flow no longer sounds lazy and sloppy. +I personally like how he flips beats. I like his version of kanYe's Amazing better than kanYe's version. It just vibes the right way for me. +Unlike a lot of these artists that get into the game, CH actually has a story to tell. He's not Ace Hood, who just raps about shit he thinks he's supposed to rap about, and he's not like Asher Roth who just stumbled into the game. CH is a musician who prides himself in his craft. -Slow down with the mixtapes. He should work on releasing longer, more complete, concept mixtapes instead of flooding the market with so much. Papoose has worn himself out and Lil' Wayne is... well, no longer a credible hiphop artist, just a pop personality. -No more Soulja Boy beefs. -He should utilize his "circle of friends." A feature here and there doesn't hurt Verdict: CH is still dope. |
