A co-worker of my dads would like a website, a logo, t-shirt design, and a poster designed. That's a lot and he's willing to pay me too. I'm not sure how much should I charge him though. How much would you charge?
Is charging him more than $100 to much? I've seen people charge that much for one thing but I don't even have a degree in graphic design yet, and so I don't know if it's right to charge him more than $100. I don't know, suggestions? |

In my professional experience, you should only quote him what you're willing to bring to him. If you think that you are worth $500 than by all means tell him that's what it's going to cost him. If you think that you're only worth the $100 than that's what you'll tell him. Or design something for him, and have him tell you what he is willing to pay for the ownership of the designs. Sometimes, when you're dealing with friends and family, they may think that it's going to be cheap, because of the fact that you're friend and or family.
