how do i create DIV myspace layouts? Options

hey guys im new to these forums, ive seen the myspace layouts ppl make on this site, they are all awesome. I am really into graphic design and im actually going for that type of career, im currently still in high school but soon goin to college.

i see these layouts and say to myself "i have to make one!"
like iv seen "Mikeplyts" work and its so awesome
but i dont really know how.
Im pretty good with photoshop, i use it often. Im guessing you make the layout on photoshop? the only thing i need to know is how you put links and all that on it.
like the "home" "message" etc..
