is this even possible?, (extra information when scroll over) Options

I am considering making a new layout, and I always make div layouts.

Last night I had a dream and thought "hey that would be really cool if I could do that." In the dream, on the layout, there were four pictures (of my top four friends, myspace, yeahh...) and they were all spaced out right beside eachother, and when I would scroll over the first picture (of sarah), it would have a transparent text box come out beside it and it had information about sarah, including inside jokes etc, stuff i wanted to say about her, you know? and then when i scrolled over the second one(of becca) the same thing happened, only the picture slid over to where sarah's was!

I was wondering if maybe there were some way i could do this? and if so, how might I go about doing this?

(i can understand most html/css (i started off with css and transfered to html, so yeahh..)

so is there anyway of doing this?

I think you need to do JavaScripts to do those type of effects...


If you dreamed about this type of effect, then either:
A) Just an imagination from your brain.
B) You either saw something that inspired you to dream about the effect.
