Hey everyone, so I'm writing a 5 page, 1,000 word essay on a major scandal about priests molesting little kids and some even molesting adults. I have some questions that I Need help with answering, please help me?
1. Why do some priests do it? 2. Why do some churches try to cover up the story? 3. Why don't kids speak out about it? 4. How could this be stopped? 5. Does being a priest provide a home for them to live in and benefits like that? 6. Why aren't priests allowed to have wives or sex when they're a priest? annnnd that's all i can think of right now... Help me please? |

You should watch Doubt.
3. Maybe the child feels a sort of 'love', (for lack of better word)/attachment for the priest (or whomever) and doesn't have the courage or whatever to come and say something. Perhaps they think that what the person is doing is what's best for them. Something along those lines. |
