Me and this guy in school, Adrian, we're really close.

We're both in the prefects board. For those in US who don't know, the prefects are a board of students who basically keep school in order. During lunch, we station ourselves at certain points so that no students are able to go into the classes. Stealing is pretty common in school so yeah... pinch.gif

Anyway Adrian and I are always stationed near each other. So during lunch, we'd just stand together at one of the balconies and talk. To us it's really no big deal coz we're just talking.

But if you look up from the ground floor, it looks like Adrian and I are standing really close. And we're always laughing and whispering at each other. So we really look like a couple.

During break, me and a bunch of other prefect friends were just hanging out at the cafeteria when they somehow got started on the subject of my and Adrian. They all started talking about how much we looked like a couple and how if a teacher saw us together, the teacher would think we were a couple too.

If a teacher thinks that way, we are so screwed. Plus Adrian doesn't really have a good record and I haven't been in the discipline teacher's good books lately.

And one of my senior prefect friend told me that she told Adrian to not hang around me too much in case a teacher sees us. And my friend was like 'And bang, the next day, you see the two of them together again'.

AAAHH! I'm just so fustrated. Adrian and I are just really good friends. But everyone thinks we're a couple. Bah. Yeah sending Valentine gifts to one another certainly didn't help at all. _dry.gif

Do you consider you guys a couple?

No, definitely not. He's like my best guy friend.

Well, I think you two should talk about it and get things straightened out--that way you know how your feelings [if any] stand for each other.

Then tell all of those f*ers to stop thinking you're together.

That happens to me too.

I'm more comfortable around guys because I was a tomboy growing up, and whoever I'm close to, people ask us how long we've been together.

I'm like.. ???

But it's okay.

Relax and just straighten things out and things should be cool.

We talk about how the others think of us all the time. It's funny. There's no point denying coz then they all seem to think you're really dating. I've been there.
