Hey everyone, so I'm writing a 5 page, 1,000 word essay on a major scandal about priests molesting little kids and some even molesting adults. I have some questions that I Need help with answering, please help me?

1. Why do some priests do it?

2. Why do some churches try to cover up the story?

3. Why don't kids speak out about it?

4. How could this be stopped?

5. Does being a priest provide a home for them to live in and benefits like that?

6. Why aren't priests allowed to have wives or sex when they're a priest?

1. cause they messed up in the head

2. cause it makes the church and the religion look bad

3. why would a kid wanna speak out about it it's embarassing and with the way kids are today other kids will ride on that if they knew bout that and it's an emotional scar they gonna walk around with cause it's someone that they supposedly look to and confide in since that's what a preist does.

4. how can it be stopped iono change these stupid rules that a preists have like this can't have wives or have sex or any of that they humans you can't change human insticts just cause they been ordained and what not.

6. cause that's the "path" they have chosen. it's what they gotta do to be ordained as a priest they take a bunch of stupid vows.

in my opinion it's all useless garbage that they do.
you take a bunch of stupid vows to be able to read a book with ancient writings in it and tell people what "the lord" has in store for us.
i don't see what good it does the person who is a priest cause i'm sure i can pick up a bible read the same stories to a crowd of people and all that and i don't need to take vows to have to do all this. and because they take these vows they are some how denied the ability to do things like have a wife have sex and all that. so when u cut someone off from all that what u want them to do i mean people are made to mingle with others so if you prevent someone from doing so eventually they are gonna find way to satisfy their needs. so what better way than to use little kids that come around.

i don't get it though pastors are allowed to have wives and kids and all that but they can olny have sex once and have kids and all that stuff

all that stuff just to read some books and preach about god
