Molestation by Priests?, I have questions that I couldn't find answers for.. HELP? Options

Hey everyone, so I'm writing a 5 page, 1,000 word essay on a major scandal about priests molesting little kids and some even molesting adults. I have some questions that I Need help with answering, please help me?

1. Why do some priests do it?

2. Why do some churches try to cover up the story?

3. Why don't kids speak out about it?

4. How could this be stopped?

5. Does being a priest provide a home for them to live in and benefits like that?

6. Why aren't priests allowed to have wives or sex when they're a priest?

Sorry, i meant to edit that. In 1 and 2 I agree with Jc (brooklyneast05).
As for 4, that's a difficult question. You could (attempt to) implement many things (such as, the idea of getting rid of priests) but that would just cause major problems, since you can't necessarily prove that all priests are pedophiles.

for 5, are you asking if priests are provided homes? from what i've known/experienced they are.
