I think it's cute but I don't get that robot looking feeling. They kind of look like some kind of emo kids.
 Anyways, yeah maybe lighten the blue a bit and try adding little 'bolts' or 'nails' around the inside of the body, like an inside stroke. Also, maybe kind of make their eyes sort of red? and the skin a little more 'metallic'. Idk. Good job though.
