Making computer run faster |

So, I came to the conclusion that my computer takes eons to load up. Is there anything I can do to make my computer run faster? I usually have about 3 - 4 processes running at the same time (firefox, photoshop, a music player (itunes, zune, windows media) and maybe word), and sometimes my computer freezes, but the internet is fast and I dont have any viruses, so what would some of you techies recommend?

Ya the motherboard + processor a lone is no less than $700ish I got the same exact processor but with a x58 Asus motherboard, it came out to $778.50 from Newegg. The one thing I frown upon on that setup is the fact they bought the GTX295 when that's hella more expensive than the 4850X2 which is less than $300 right now on CompUSA's website. Which happens to be just a tiny bit better than the GTX295 (I'm a Nvidia fan, but I know right now that the 4800s are out performing the GTXs) |
