I'm closer to my mom. I tell her (almost) everything. We have a great relationship. She's seriously like one of my best friends. With my dad it's different. The only time we really, really talk is to see how our days went & when I need help on something regarding school or when it comes to my computer & stuff like that. I wish our relationship was different. "/

My mom. We've been through a lot together. She's always there for me and I'm always there for her, so I'm glad it's not a case of me always depending on her. She can't drive (she actually lost her license when I turned 16), so she depends on me for that... which means we end up spending time together whether either of us likes it or not. She's definitely the strongest woman I know.
I'm not close with my dad at all. Growing up he was abusive and my parents split up a lot (even though they're still married). He's gotten things under control and now he's trying, but it's still awkward. |
