what is all this shit i'm hearing about rush limbaugh and how he is or should be the leader of the republican party. is this a joke?
![]() i would feel seriously sorry for them if that was the case. i don't even really know anyone, democrat or republican, who take him seriously. |

Oh, Limbaugh. Such a pompous ***hole. The only reason why he's the "leader" of the Republican party is because people keep showing him deference, as Michael pointed out. And it's not just Steele, it's Bobby Jindal, various members of the Senate who've dared to cross him, and, not to mention, the Democrats. The Dems are using Limbaugh to play the party against its moderate members who hate Limbaugh. The only people who like Limbaugh are the really teeny teeny tiny conservative Republican base, and by elevating him as the leader of the party, the Dems are looking to gain support.
Limbaugh is the "leader" of the conservative party. He just spoke at CPAC on Saturday night, so that might have something to do with all the news going around. ... um... I'm just going to put this out here and say there is no conservative party, you know that right? I couldn't tell if you were kidding.
