I got a job making a layout for a jewelry website yesterday, and thanks to a day off from school, I've already finished. The person wanted the layout to look similar to this site, and I tried my best to interpret it into a cleaner design.

I didn't have anything about the credit in the terms, but honestly that's not what's bothering me the most. Why would I want my credit on it now? It just irritates me that I spent hours on this and even though I asked her several times, she never told me she wanted something changed.
This is what I told her: QUOTE I just wanted to let you know that I'm slightly disappointed in the fact that you decided to make such drastic changes to the layout I created for you. I asked you several times to tell me if there was anything you wanted changed, and never once did you mention you wanted a different image or shade of pink. I know my terms said nothing about changing anything or deleting my tiny credit link, and in the end I was still paid for the project, but just as you expect people to respect the hours of hard work you put into your jewelry, I expect the same from my clients. I just ask that if anyone inquires about where you got your layout from, you do not refer them to me.
