i might be a hypocrite for hating when people are redundant since i'm sure i'm also guilty of this... but anyways.
i get ticked off when people say things like "it's stinky, smelly, and hairy" or "keep it short and concise." stinky and smelly mean the same things, so why use both? and "short" is already implied in the definition of "concise" so why can't you just say "keep it concise." it's not a big deal, really. just bugs me -_- |

It gives a better visual picture, unless someone is saying it then it goes farther into depth of what there sense are feeling.

"it's smelly and hairy and dimply and gross." not "it's smelly and stinky and dude it stank." |
