Ok, I know that the tracker is not always on-spot accurate, but how come some people's ip addresses show up like this?
Feb 21 7:33 pm ˇ Napa, California, US - very specific Feb 23 6:11 am ˇ Dublin, Dublin, IE - sort of specific Feb 23 4:18 am ˇ Unknown, Unknown, JP - not specific Feb 22 2:08 pm ˇ Unknown, Unknown, Unknown - not specific at all And how come some ip's already show up as id'd even though I never identified them? patrick_is_my_fall_out_boy (64.136.27.229) Big Bear City, California, United States And is there any way to tell what I am being identified as by someone else's tracker (ie: if I'm like the examples above: already id'd, or totally anonymous, or somewhat anonymous) |

Well there's my dilemma :P
I guess it's different for everyone. For me, I have a lot of users that I never manually identified, but are id'd, with a pic, link to their website, username, and everything. And they don't have a cB tracker. Anyway, I really wanted to know how I showed up to others, because there's someone who has been visiting my website lately and copying my ideas off it (I tracked & id'd correctly, so I know who it is) but I wanted to know how I'm showing up on their tracker... or if I'm showing up at all. I check back to their blog every so often to see what's been used from mine, but I don't want it to seem like I'm doing what they're doing :/ |
