I'm beginning to love baking more than I love cooking. Cooking is kind of like art, you can do a lot of stuff to it but there's a chance that you won't mess it up. Baking is completely different. I love how disparate ingredients come together to make something completely new. It's so precise, like science.

i'm starting to work on creating my own recipes. i'm glad i have the basics for culinary but i'm missing the baking and pastries part. i can still experiment with it though. i've been wanting this ice cream that no one makes so i'm gonna make my own as soon as i get a good ice cream maker.
