I'm beginning to love baking more than I love cooking. Cooking is kind of like art, you can do a lot of stuff to it but there's a chance that you won't mess it up. Baking is completely different. I love how disparate ingredients come together to make something completely new. It's so precise, like science.

No, never my own recipes. I'm not ready for that yet
 I find recipes on the internet and bake those. I think, though, that the different flavorings and spices you add in don't matter much as long as the batter is correct. I've added more cinnamon and nutmeg in things like pie, but the only thing you need to be precise about in pies is the crust.
