I'm beginning to love baking more than I love cooking. Cooking is kind of like art, you can do a lot of stuff to it but there's a chance that you won't mess it up. Baking is completely different. I love how disparate ingredients come together to make something completely new. It's so precise, like science.

I like to make upside down cakes. I usually make cranberry upside down coffee cake, because the cranberries work so well with the coffee cake and it looks good (I posted a pic in the "last thing you cooked" thread.) I don't know if it'd be considered baking, but I love making chocolates and truffles too. |
