To those of you that have your own apartment....how is it and what are some of the struggles that you have had to and still do deal with?

Well, I still don't have a couch.
Seriously though, I haven't had any real "struggles". Everything works fairly well, and the landlord is quick to make repairs. I live in a quiet area, too, so I don't have any noise problems. Only real issue is location, which is something that's important to keep in mind. I live several miles from the town center, so it can be annoying to go out and do things, or just hang out with other people. Also, I'm not within walking distance of a bar, so when my roommates and I go out for beers, one of us always has to take it easy so we can drive home safely. |
