Do they annoy anyone else? It's not so much the fact that they exist, but the fact that most of them are completely open. If you're going to make a "gimme your phone numbers" group, you'd at least make it a private group, right?

I put my cell phone number on my facebook once and only once when I had to get a new cell phone after I got back from studying abroad, and I only left it visible to my friends and for one week only. I don't understand those public phone groups either. Home number, whatever, since that shit is public knowledge anyway, but not cell numbers.
