Alright. You obviously haven't read more than a few pages from the Bible. This means that you are obviously ignorant towards what Christianity is and what it stands for.
The video picks out scripture that is obviously meant towards being a metaphor. Also, not to mention, the video only talks about the punishment of criminals. The Bible clearly states that one should be put under trial and to have the problem thoroughly investigated before a punishment is put into place. Also, when the video mentioned scripture involving slaves, it's actually not promoting slavery. Nowhere in the scripture does it tell people to buy slaves and work them to death. Just because there's war and violence in the Bible doesn't mean that the Bible promotes violence. But I guess it's repulsive to you, since you're not old enough to comprehend that the Old Testament is referred to as a genealogy and a history book. There's going to be violence everywhere. Man is corrupt, and we're going to be starting shit all the time. But when you get just a little older, you'll soon realize that not only is the Bible not repulsive, it's actually a decent read. This was such a waste of my time. |
