Okay, so this guy (I don't actually know if we're dating anymore) basically-sort-of told me that he wasn't into me anymore. The problem is that I really really like him - he's an amazing guy except that he has Aspergers.
I gave him a little leeway because of his condition but I couldn't stand it anymore because he just kept getting mad at me and I was always apologizing so I confronted him about it. He basically blew me off and I don't know what to do now... I like another guy apart from him, the problem is that guy is also very taken. He's really in love with his boyfriend and I'm pretty sure that the extent of his feelings for me is probably friends. If I was being conceited, I'd say he probably thinks of me as a little brother. I don't know who I should choose or what I should do... |

Honestly, I don't think you should go after either. It's more obvious with the one who's already taken. You don't want to be that guy who is flirting with him and overstepping your bounds. If you care for the either guy there really isn't a reason why you can't be in their lives. You just may have to be in their lives on different terms. If the first guy isn't interested in you and you can't put up with the unpredictability of his moods that come along with being with him then maybe you two should just stay friends. Or part ways. No matter how much either of you try to convince yourselves, things won't change. It's a part of who he is and if you expect that to change then you're not only being unfair to him but you are setting expectations for him to meet and when he cannot meet those expectations things will only get worse.
I hope I don't sound harsh. |
