Last night I was driving and turned down the wrong street, so I needed to make a u-turn and go back the other way. I was coming up to a GREEN light that had three lanes, two straight lanes and a left turn lane. I went into the left turn lane and made a u-turn. There weren't any no u-turn signs posted either, so I figured it was legit. As I was going back the other way, I see flashing lights and a cop car coming straight towards me. He jumped the median, and I swerved to the right so he wouldn't slam into me and then he flew up behind me and pulled me over. Only in Pennsylvania would I get a $109.50 ticket for making a legal u-turn. I hate this state.

Have you ever gotten a ridiculous ticket?

Both of those ticket's were ridiculous. Especially yours Tori, I don't know state laws in Pennsylvania, but if there's no signs, is it still illegal? If the light was green? What did the cop say he was writing the ticket for, or is there a statute written on the ticket? All the tickets I've ever received were because I broke the law, however, the prices of some of the tickets are a bit ridiculous.. Speeding 58/25=$385, No registration=$85, Speeding 55/35=$110. The prices are such bs.
