Fambams are like cliques. Usually, there is a certain type of requirement you need to join. If you lack that criteria, you will most likely get rejected. You have to apply to get a position in a fambam, and you must maintain your spot.

So, if you were in a group such as.. "Madagascar Movie Mafia", you would probably have to have the knowledge or experience of liking the movie. You must show your devotion or liking to the certain subject.

Fambams are run by leaders or founders of the group. They're usually referred to as "Mainheads" or "Admins" of the group. They maintain the structure of the whole fambam, meaning layouts, codes, ads for the fambam. They may also choose to dropout any member if they have a reason so. Some Mainheads do not have the time to accept members, so they have sidekicks or "Sub Head" to do that task. Sidekicks are trusted members that have earned the rank to edit the layout of the Fambam and accept any newcomers to the fambam. They may NOT drop members, but they may moderate or stop any drama or fights going on.

Once you are accepted, you will be required to "rep" the fambam. On Myspace, this usually means putting the initials of the fambam anywhere on your name, profile, signature, etc. So if you were in "Madagascar Movie Mafia" you would have to have [MmM] or any appropriate initials corresponding to the fambam's name. FOR Createblog, you may put the initials on your sub-profile, signature, profile, or your name. You must also stop by frequently to check up how the Fambam is going. This action shows loyal traits and support for your fambam.

Fail to do and acquire these types of regulations will get you dropped from the fambam. Some fambams talk to others and they socialize on members that are in their fambams, or dropouts that failed to achieve the rank of a mere member. So if you try to apply for another fambam, you are likely to get rejected, since they have already known your past experience with another group.

If you have been a member for a long time in the fambam, you may get promoted. Promotions are adding a higher rank to your previous status. So you can be a site model, layout designer, sidekicks, or even a mainhead!

TIPS;
- When you apply, they ask you all sorts of questions. Be honest. Nobody wants a liar to be accepted. If you had a bad history, let it all out. You will feel much better once you tell the truth. The location of the application is sometimes hidden, so you probably must read the rules to find the location. Sometimes, you must put in a special codename on the application, to tell if you read the rules correctly.

- Be aware that not everyone will be accepted. This is a clique. If you do not meet the requirements we make, then don't act like a baby. You can always apply again, and that will show how much interest you really want to be in the fambam.

- Some fambams require a picture or two to see if your physical appearance is able to fit in with other members of the fambam. A fambam is a family.

- You can always make fan-posters or do banners for a fambam, that would show your appreciation for the fambam.

- Fambams come in many themes! They vary from cool kids to shoe kids! Try to find a fambam that will fit with your tastes!
