I'm not depending on you guys or anything, but I have this terrible pain on the side of my leg right above my knee. It's really painful when I bend it and put weight on it (walking up/down the stairs, sitting, standing up) but not when I just walk. It's strange.
Any opinions? I'm too poor to go to the doctors. |

I don't ever really post on here, but thought i'd log in as it sounds like you have the same problem as me. may be a n inbalance in your quad muscles - VMO and V-lat which could be chondromalacia patella - "runners knee" - might as well be "office workers knee" as it occurs in loads of different people, ecpseically those who sit down a lot of the time. If its tight on the outside of your leg it could be iliotibial band syndrome. If it hurts and doesn't go away, get yourself to a physio. I've found that body weight half squats help somewhat.
