detention center Options

I met this guy on the bus and I gave him my number. We talked like almost every night for a month. We decided to hang out yesterday. It was fun. We just went to starbucks, drove aimlessly around and took a walk in the park. Then he called me later that night. I was like "since you came to visit me, ill come visit you." Hes like "to come visit me, you need a background check" and i was like "why?" He said, "I live in a detention center." The reason he was in there was because he drove with out a license. I don't think that's the reason. All my friends i talked to him about said it wasn't either that people in detention centers are for like stealing, drugs, driving drunkk etc. I honestly don't think its going to work out and my gut feeling is too let him go. What do you think i should do? or how should I tell him i dont want to talk to him anymore.

i think, you should ask him why he lives there. i believe he drove drunk without a license, i don't think he told you the whole story. i think you should give him a chance, just be friends for now, but don't let yourself get too attached. if your gut tells you no, then just stay friends.
