I'm not depending on you guys or anything, but I have this terrible pain on the side of my leg right above my knee. It's really painful when I bend it and put weight on it (walking up/down the stairs, sitting, standing up) but not when I just walk. It's strange.

Any opinions? I'm too poor to go to the doctors.

well lets see if i can diagnose this one.
it's on the side of your leg above your knee
ice it and for the time being try and not put as much pressure on it.
other things to do stretch the leg and keep it iced then heat it or just apply icy hot to it.
other than that keep an eye on it for if a mark shows up on it or anything n if u can get a brace for it to keep it in place and at night keep the leg levitated .
if situation gets worse then yea go to a doctor
