Hi everyone,
I've been using instant packet mixes to make my milk teas and I have become dissatisfied with it when I compare it to Tapioca Express's or Quickly's. Since home-made stuff seems to prevail over instant store-bought stuff I wanted to know if anyone in createblog knew of any good milk tea recipes :) I'm particularly interested in Thai Milk Tea recipes, my favorite :) And also, boba for that matter, like what sweetening you use on your tapioca pearls? |

We constantly have HK style milk tea at our house. There's not really much to it, just a looooot of PG Tips tea bags (we do maybe 3 cups and use like 6 tea bags?) and let it steep for quite a bit so it's super strong, then just white sugar and Carnation evaporated milk to taste.
I think that's the only real milk tea there is lol. Even when I have bbt I tend to shy away from bubble milk tea because it always tastes watered down and shizz. I guess you could make it like that with the same "ingredients", just use less tea bags and more milk. |
