I'm pretty sure Shanghai dumplings are pot stickers (锅贴) (that's literally what they are called in Chinese...wor teep. Wor = pot/pan/ceramic pot whatever, teep = sticker). Ah, wor teeps totally slipped my mind. I was still thinking about xiong long baos. Anyway, my new favourite dish is taro cake. I never order it at dim sum, but after this CNY and having it so many times, I'M IN LOVE. |
