so about 2 weeks ago, i was madly in love with my girlfriend. she is exactly perfect for me and i for her. now i know that there is no such thing as perfect, but trust me on this one. i thought i was in love before, but i never quite felt anything like the way i did with her. well we had to break up because of her parents and well we made promises to meet up somehow in the future, but any way..i know that its silly to do things like that and her favorite saying was "i dont make promises, but i keep my word" but..theres just something that feels so..RIGHT.

so my question here is...DO I KEEP MY HEART SET ON HER, OR SHOULD I JUST MOVE ON?..
i dont want to feel like an idiot for believing in these promises for the longest time only to find out that she didnt pull through. but then again i dont want to be the other idiot who just missed out on the chance of finding their once in a lifetime.

my parents tell me to just get over it and move on.

What good is it dwelling on something that might or might not happen? You need to just go with the flow. If 10 years down the line, you meet up again, then it'll happen. But that's 10 years down the line.
