^It's not hard.
The girls learn to be very superficial, they get pressured into to doing things they don't want to do anymore, they can be subjected to perverts, they can miss out on there child hood. Of course not all young pageant attenders go through that but those are some cons. Pros: Money, fulfillment, it's something they enjoy doing and want to continue doing into adult hood, it's something constructive to do. |
