I have a friend I've given advice to for 3 years. Recently we agreed to hangout, and she gave me her number. It's a long distance. Just a few states from each other. So I made the effort to call and we talk more online than we do on the phone. She told me I have bad timing when I call, but she said it in a joking way. The other day I called. Her little sister picked up the phone. Then the sound got muffled, and the dial tone stopped. She told me she's really talkative in person, but idk..Should I take this personally?

maybe she felt awkward that her sister picked up, and little sisters like to blabber things. maybe she doesn't want her parents to know or something that you guys talk from distance. i don't think you should take it personally, just talk to her online, maybe she's not ready for the phone. you know?
